Annual Reports
We’re thrilled to kick off the 2023-2024 school year, marking a major milestone—Caliber’s 10-year anniversary! This year, we celebrate not only a decade of growth but also the tremendous strides we've made together.
We've achieved over a year’s worth of growth in reading and math, becoming one of the top-performing schools in the communities we serve. Our average daily attendance has seen a significant improvement, and we've continued to listen to our community to ensure we’re one of the best choices for both students and staff.
As we celebrate this exciting anniversary, we look forward to building on our success and creating even more opportunities for growth and excellence!
We are beyond excited to welcome everyone back for the 2022-2023 school year! This year presents a wonderful opportunity to champion early literacy across our community, ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has access to the tools and support they need to thrive. We're proud to introduce our fully expanded learning program, designed to provide enriching and dynamic opportunities for all our students to grow both academically and personally.
In addition, we've worked hard to listen to the voices of our community—students, families, and staff—so that we can continue to build a school environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. This year, more than ever, we are committed to creating spaces where every student can find success and a sense of belonging.
Together, we will celebrate the strength, resilience, and potential of each of our students as we move forward into this exciting school year!
We were thrilled to welcome all students back to campus during the 2021-2022 school year. We worked to validate and affirm the strengths and resiliency of our students, families and staff throughout the year. We faced the challenges that returning to in-person learning brought by focusing on individual and team strengths. We celebrated big and small victories and found joy in being together.
In the 2020-2021 school year Caliber implemented systems for distance learning and family support that would enable our students to continue to learn, grow and thrive. We continued to distribute chromebooks and hot spots so that all students could connect, organized time for families to meet virtually, and celebrated students and staff in safe yet joyous ways.
Our 6th year found us having to shift to remote learning due to the global pandemic. In an effort to provide the best education and support to our students our staff distributed over 1,700 chromebooks, almost 150 hotspots, and continued to serve meals.
Our 5th year started with the welcome of Terence Johnson, our new CEO, and with a change of name to better reflect the work we do. We are now, officially, Caliber Public Schools. We are excited to present this year's report - celebrating all we have accomplished and looking forward to the future.Public Schools
